Microsoft will unveil 'the future of hybrid working' next month
Microsoft has announced that it will host a new keynote on "the future of hybrid work, powered by Windows" next month.
Airing April 5, 2022 at 8:00 a.m. PT / 11:15 a.m. ET / 00:XNUMX p.m. GMT, the new keynote will feature Windows executive Panos Panay diving into the “exciting future of hybrid working,” with sessions demonstration of Windows tools for productivity and collaboration, management, and security.
Beyond the above demo sessions listed on the event homepage, it is currently unclear exactly what will be presented or launched by Panay during the keynote, however, it is obviously quite likely, thanks to the name of the event, that there will be a strong focus on remote and hybrid work solutions.
This could mean that the event will perhaps focus on the almost too successful Windows 365 cloud service, or alternatively, the keynote could focus on the metaverse and the possibility of working in VR to bring an office together in a virtual space.
Whatever happens during the keynote, Microsoft is clearly invested in the future of hybrid working, as Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has previously said, "Hybrid working represents the biggest shift in how which we work in our generation" and that it will require a "new functioning". model, covering people, places and processes.
