How to view your saved credit card numbers in Chrome

If you need to check, update, or delete your credit card numbers saved by Google Chrome's autofill feature, it's easy to do so using the browser's payment method settings. Here's how.

First, open Google Chrome on your Mac, PC, or Linux computer. In any Chrome window, click the three vertical dots button in the upper right corner. In the menu that appears, click on “Settings”.

Click on "Settings" in Google Chrome

The “Settings” tab will open. Click on "Autofill" in the sidebar, then select "Payment methods".

In the settings of Google Chrome, click on "Payment methods".

Under Payment Method Settings, look for a subsection also called "Payment Methods" near the bottom of the window. If Chrome has already registered credit cards, they will be listed here. To see more information about any card, click the "three dots" button next to it.

Click on the three dots next to the credit card in the list to view more information.

In the small menu that appears, select "Edit".

After clicking on the three dots, select "Edit".

In the "Edit Card" window that appears, you can see the full credit card number, expiration date, name on the card, and the card nickname.

On the "Edit Card" screen in Chrome, you will see the full credit card information.

When you are on the edit map screen, you can make changes to the stored map information as needed, or copy and paste the information to another destination. When you are done making changes, click "Save."

Back on the Payment Methods screen, if you want to add a new credit card that Chrome will use in Autofill, click the “Add” button. Or if you want to remove a credit card saved in Google Chrome, click the three-dot button next to the card in the list and select "Remove."

After clicking on the three dots, select "Remove".

After that close the Settings tab and you are good to go. Whenever you need to refer to your stored cards again, all you need to do is review Google Chrome settings> Autofill> Payment methods.

Manage Google Pay cards in Chrome

If you're signed into a Google Account in Chrome and have a credit card linked to Google Pay, you'll see it listed if you open Settings and navigate to Autofill> Payment Methods (like in the section above).

To view the details of a card linked to Google Pay, click on the icon next to it (which looks like a square with an arrow inside), and the Google Pay website will open.

Access your Google Pay settings from the autofill menu.

You will not be able to view the full credit card number as you can with a card that has been stored by Autofill locally (see section above). But you can display the last four digits and the expiration date.

You can also add or remove a card registered on the Google Pay website by clicking “Remove” or “Add a payment method”. Good luck and happy shopping!
