How to remap the buttons on the DualSense Edge
The DualSense Edge is the latest controller for the PS5 to be released by Sony. It has the same overall shape and design as the base DualSense, but features all-new buttons and more customization options than ever before.
It comes with a white carrying case and several accessories, including a new braided USB-C cable and charger lock, so your device won't disconnect during intensive gaming sessions.

1Turn on your PS5
Turn on your PS5 and log in to your profile.

2Press the Function button
Press one of the two function buttons, they are located under the joysticks.

3Click the hamburger button on the controller
A small drop-down menu will appear once you press the Function button. Hold it down, then press the hamburger button on the DualSense Edge controller. It's on the right side of the controller and looks like three rows stacked on top of each other.

4Click Create Custom Profile
Go to the top of the screen and click on the Create a custom profile button.

You will be given the option to name your new custom profile. Once you've named it, click OK.

6Tap Customize button assignments
From the menu presented, click Customize Button Assignments. This is the best option.

7Remap buttons
Here you can remap nearly every button on the DualSense Edge, including the new back buttons.

8Press Return to Game
Once you've configured the buttons on the DualSense Edge, click Back to Game. These profiles can be changed and adjusted as many times as you like, and you can create four dedicated profiles.

You can create up to four dedicated custom profiles accessible by clicking the Function button. You can also create other profiles and deactivate them whenever you need.
