1. Data Collection
Quick Replies for Gmail does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. We have no analytics, no tracking pixels, and no telemetry of any kind. We do not know who installs the extension, how often it is used, or what templates are created.
2. Local Storage
The extension uses the Chrome chrome.storage.local API to save your button configurations, including labels, colors, and template content. This data is stored exclusively in your browser and is never transmitted to any server. If you uninstall the extension, this data is automatically deleted by Chrome.
3. Access to Gmail
The extension requires access to mail.google.com solely to insert quick reply buttons into the Gmail user interface. The content script interacts only with Gmail’s UI elements to place buttons and insert text when clicked. The extension does not read, copy, index, or transmit any content from your emails, contacts, or attachments.
4. Third-Party Services
The extension does not use any third-party tracking, analytics, advertising, or data-processing services. No data of any kind is shared with any third party.
5. Data Sales and Transfers
We do not sell, transfer, or share user data with third parties for any purpose, including advertising, data brokerage, or credit assessment. This applies now and in the future.
