What to know about the Xbox Insider Release Notes – Alpha (2203.220221-2200)
On February 23, Xbox Insiders announced the release of a new preview of the Xbox update on the Alpha ring. It became available on the same mentioned date at 14:00 PM PT and was made mandatory on February 24, 2022 at 3:00 AM PT.
In the update, a few fixes have been made. This includes crashing settings and the issue of audio setup wizard tones playing persistently even after it was closed.
On the other hand, Xbox also mentioned that while the other issues listed in the latest Xbox Insider release notes are still present, Xbox engineers are working on them. Some of these issues are:
- random controller disconnection from console
- Razer Turret Xbox button not accessing guide
- Audio mixer chat/game audio level adjustment failed
- Ineffective HDMI-CEC
- disc title icon missing from dashboard
- poor console resolution on startup]
Xbox has provided workarounds and notes to mitigate issues with the remaining issues. It also encourages users to keep reporting issues while ensuring that its engineers and the entire team are studying and working on possible solutions.
