Google's sentence that condemns poor quality texts

The growing consideration of the meaning and the quality of texts by Google is one of the trends that was confirmed in 2015. It will be its priority in 2016. A short sentence from Google proves this shift.

A mini-sentence, drowned in 160 pages, appeared in Google's Guide for (Human) Reviewers, the Quality Raters. These people are responsible by Google, in all countries, to put themselves instead of internet users and to give an assessment of the quality of a certain number of sites. The Quality Raters follow the rules formalized in this guide. The score of the sites evaluated can then be improved or… downgraded. For bad students, it can mean tumbling down the search results. The new guide " Search Quality Rating Guidelines Was unveiled in November 2015 by Google.

“Content is considered poor quality if it is created without sufficient time, effort, expertise, talent or skill. [This will lead to] giving the whole page a low rating. "

The mystery remains, however. What evaluation criteria does Google use to judge the time, effort or skill put into producing a text? The number of words? The variety and meaning (semantics) of words? The coherence of the words between them? The consistency of the words with other reputed quality texts? So many billion dollar questions.

Take care of the quality of your texts

What is certain is that if Google does not appreciate the quality of a page, it does not. will never favor again in its rankings. The engine estimates that Internet users might be disappointed. This page will therefore find itself relegated to the depths of the web. The sites have every interest, therefore, to put themselves in the shoes of the readers and to take care of the quality of their texts !

We understand: more than ever, the top priority of the search engine for 2016 is that the results displayed correspond to the expectations of Internet users, so that they are satisfied of what they find. The goal ? That the Net surfers come back, that they seek again, and that they click on the links displayed in the natural results… But also, since they are there, that they click on the Adwords ads, which make the fortune of Google!
