Netflix has extended its "additional member" password sharing fee to four more countries, but the UK and US have escaped the crackdown for now.

Users can now “buy an additional member” in Canada (CAD$7,99), Portugal (3,99 euros), Spain (5,99 euros) and New Zealand (NZD$7,99). If you have a Standard subscription, you can purchase one additional member and if you are a Premium subscriber, you can add two. Basic with Ads and Basic subscribers will not have access to this “benefit”.

Netflix users will also be encouraged to set up a primary location and manage devices with access so they can watch on those devices while they travel without being blocked, the company said today.
