Microsoft is now rolling out a fix for the disabled Teams add-in on Outlook
The automatic deactivation of Teams Complement on PROSPECTS AND ACHIEVEMENTS has been a problem for Outlook for Microsoft 365 users for years. Now, Microsoft says it's rolling out an update to fix the problem.
According to users, the Teams Meeting add-in is missing from the ribbon in Outlook's Calendar view, which prevents them from scheduling Teams meetings on the email calendar app.

Microsoft didn't detail the root cause of the problem, but it fixed it in September. "When you try to create a Teams meeting in Outlook Desktop, you find that the option is missing on the ribbon," he said in a report.
The company then offered to install .Net 4.8 or Webview2 because its engineers discovered that the option worked in "some" cases. Microsoft also offered a Workaround applicable by all users concerned. In this temporary solution, users must manually re-enable the Teams Meeting add-in from Outlook and create a new registry key. This last procedure, according to Microsoft, will prevent the Teams add-in from being disabled again on Outlook.
This series of steps, however, should no longer be necessary for users of Teams version 1.5.00.28567. This Thursday, Teams Product Team said a fix has started rolling out to said users, which means you need to get the updated version of the app to receive the fix.
