2021 marks Lenco's 75th anniversary and to celebrate its anniversary, the Swiss audio brand has announced two new L-92WA and L-3809 turntables.
Aimed at both home and business users, the first is the Lenco L-92WA. This is a premium belt driven vinyl turntable for professionals and DJs with its height control and USB recording functions.
Lenco claims that its contemporary design "can blend in with any modern home" and that it should be easy to use with its built-in preamplifier and preinstalled Audio Technica cartridge (AT3600), so the turntable can be installed directly out of the box.
The belt drive uses a sturdy aluminum platter for improved stability, while the anti-slip feature is there to prevent the tone arm from slipping on vinyl records and making unwanted noise. The L-92WA has two speed settings: 33RPM and 45RPM.
There's also a strobe light feature built into the bridge - not to light your rave, unfortunately - but to see where the needle is without having to turn on the lights.
The auto return feature means the tonearm slides back to its home position after the record is finished, an added benefit is the extended life of vinyl records as the needle does not drag on the record causing damage to the record. during the process.
The Lenco L-92WA is available for £ 249 from Gear4Music and Lenco
Next is the Lenco L-3809. This model features a direct-drive motor, high-quality full-size aluminum platter, and can be connected directly to a mixer or stereo with its built-in phono preamplifier.
Similar to the L-92WA, there's lighting and a strobe to see what you're doing, with users able to adjust the speed of the turntable with a variable pitch fader (33RPM and 45RPM are supported).
With its USB recording function, vinyl records can be converted to digital MP3 files via USB cable. There is no automatic return for the S-shaped tonearm, instead the user needs to actuate the mechanical arm lifter.
The Lenco L-3809 turntable is available now on the Lenco, HMV and Gear4Music website from £ 239,99.
