How to Contact Instagram for Account Help
If you need to contact Instagram for help with your account, there's no phone number or email that will let you speak to a person. However, you can visit Instagram's Help Center to find guides and answers to common questions. You can also report posts and bugs with the Instagram app.
If you're having trouble with your Instagram account or need to report a problem, you'll probably want to reach out to Instagram for help. Although contacting Instagram isn't as easy as you might hope, you do have a few useful options.

Does Instagram have a customer service number?
Unlike many other similar services, Instagram actually has a support number that you can dial. The phone number is:

Unfortunately, you can't talk to a real human on this number, or at least not anymore. If you call Instagram's support number (like we did), you'll find that it plays a pre-recorded message and asks you to visit Instagram's help center on the web for any help. We couldn't find any way to get in touch with a real human on this number.
Can you email Instagram for help?
Instagram used to have a customer support email inbox at support@instagram.com, but it is now obsolete. This means you can no longer email Instagram asking for help.
Try Instagram's Help Center
Since it's difficult to contact Instagram directly for help with your account, the best way to get help with any Instagram feature is to use the platform's help center. This is a website full of resources on various topics, offering step-by-step guides and information.
You can access this site with or without an Instagram account from your desktop computer and mobile phone.
From iPhone and Android
On an iPhone and Android phone, you can access the Help Center from the Instagram app.
To do this, launch Instagram on your phone.
If you're signed out of Instagram, access the Help Center by tapping "Get help signing in," then "Can't reset your password?" »
If you're logged into Instagram, first tap your profile icon in the bottom right corner of the app.
In the upper right corner of the next page, select the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines).
In the opened menu, choose “Settings”.
In "Settings", select "Help".
On the “Help” page, choose “Help Center”.
You are now in the Instagram Help Center. Here you will find all the necessary information on the different features of the platform.

From Windows, Mac, Linux and Chromebook
To use the Help Center from your desktop, launch your favorite web browser on your computer and open the Instagram Help Center.
On the site, use the navigation menu on the left to find various topics and get information about them. To find a specific topic, use the search box on the site.
To access site content in another language, then in the top right corner of the site, click the current language. Then type and choose the language in which you want to see the site resources.
Click "Save Changes" to save your changes.
You'll find that most Help Center articles offer detailed information as well as step-by-step instructions for performing various procedures. This makes it easier to learn or use a feature on the platform.
How to report a post on Instagram
If you're trying to contact Instagram to report a post, you don't need to speak to a human to do so. You can submit publication reports from the publication page itself.
To report a post, in the top right corner of that post, tap the three dots. Then select “Report”.
Choose your reason for reporting the post and follow the on-screen instructions. Instagram will then review your report and take appropriate action.

How to report a bug to Instagram
If you're having trouble on Instagram, you can submit a bug report by simply shaking your phone.
To do this, while you are having the problem, just shake your phone. This will trigger a prompt where you need to tap "Report a problem".
A "Report a problem" page will open. Here, tap on the text field and type in your issue. Instagram automatically attaches a screenshot of the page where you shook your phone. To add additional images, tap "Gallery" or "Take screenshot".
Then, in the top right corner of the page, tap “Next”.
Follow the instructions on your screen and you will successfully report a bug to Instagram. The company will then review your report and likely offer a patch to fix the bug.
