Change your movement goal
You can change your Move goal using the Activity app on your Apple Watch. You'll find it in the main menu by clicking on the digital crown, quickly launch it by tapping on the activity rings complication on your Apple Watch face.
With the Activity app open, make sure you're on the "first page" where you can see your three rings: Moving, Exercising, and Standing. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap on the "Edit Goals" button.
From here, you can edit your movement, exercise, and position goals in order. By default, the Exercise and Stand goals will be 30 minutes and 12 hours respectively. The move goal for each person differs depending on what information you provided to your Apple Watch when you first received it and whether or not you accepted Apple's invitation to increase or decrease it. decrease it according to activity levels.
If you continue to reach your Move goal, your watch will continue to suggest that you increase your Move goal. Eventually you'll hit a number you probably can't reach, so make sure you set yourself a move goal you're comfortable with or you'll lose your streak.
Meet your moving goal every day
The easiest way to fill your Move ring every day is to log all your workouts and activities. This includes the obvious things like gym sessions and runs, but also sessions of blood-pumping fitness games or even your morning walk to work.
Your Apple Watch will record most of the residual movement, but you'll get more active energy when you record it as a proper workout. You'll also get better heart rate information and GPS recordings during certain workouts (like walks, hikes, and runs), but that will tax your watch battery more.
Remember that your movement goal should motivate you, so setting it too high or too low defeats the purpose of having one at all.
