Google creates giant high-tech floating islands

Google's latest floating constructions, installed in San Francisco and Portland, will ultimately be interactive spaces for learning about new technologies.

While Google's enigmatic floating barges were the subject of all speculation, the famous search engine lifted the veil. These are not new data centers or luxury show rooms, but rather interactive spaces for learning to use “new technologies”. Which ones? The Google Glasses? Any news, still unknown to this day? The mystery remains unsolved. The firm's project, no longer really secret, the rest all the same!

Remember that the barge located in the San Francisco Bay measures 76 meters by 22 meters: a beautiful space for this current project which could accommodate up to 1000 visitors per day! The structure, made of containers, would then be dressed in sails. It could thus navigate in the various home ports of the bay. A somewhat crazy invention that has not finished making the buzz.
