Energyfi officially signs the Crypto Climate Accord
Energyfi has just signed the Crypto Climate Accord, an initiative aimed at leading the blockchain and cryptocurrency industry towards decarbonization by 2030!
What is the Crypto Climate Accord?
Inspired by the Paris Climate Agreement, the Crypto Climate Accord (CCA) was created to accelerate the development of ProofOfGreen digital solutions and set a new standard for other industries to follow. This is a private initiative for the entire crypto community, focused on decarbonizing the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry in record time.
Objectives of the CCA:
- reach zero net emissions from the electricity consumption of CCA signatories by 2030.
- Develop standards, tools and technologies with CCA signatories and supporters to accelerate adoption towards 100% renewable blockchains by the 2025 UNFCCC COP30 conference.
