Amazon's Lord of the Rings Name Reveals Trailer Looks Like CGI, But Actually Isn't

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will grace Amazon Prime Video later this year.

The company has confirmed the name of the highly anticipated streaming series, while it will begin screening on Friday, September 2 with weekly episodes (as it should, of course) and we also have a trailer to commemorate the occasion.

The title also gives us some clarity on the subject of the series, the forge of the Great Rings referenced in the legendary prologue of the triloPeter Jackson's LotR film gie.
